Working with Christian Communities Towards a Room Two-State Solution
Sunday, February 27, 8:45-10:00am
144ABC

Jewish communities across the United States must negotiate ideological differences within their
membership concerning the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Similar ideological differences
exist within the membership of traditional Christian churches and Christian movements in the U.S. What
coalitions can be built between these churches and movements and the pro-Israel, pro-peace movement?
What are the challenges these communities face understanding and working with each other and how do
they address them? What opportunities are there for local activists to get involved in interfaith work?

Reverend Peg Chemberlin
, Executive Director, Minnesota Council of Churches
Serge Duss, Board Member, Evangelicals for Middle East Understanding
Ethan Felson, Vice President and General Counsel, Jewish Council for Public Affairs
