HONORING:

DAVIDI GILO is a founder and chairman of J Street and successful serial entrepreneur who has dedicated his life to furthering the ideals of democracy, equality, diversity and peace. Born in Israel to early Zionist leaders who fought to free Jerusalem in 1948, Davidi has applied his significant business acumen to philanthropic ventures that foster democratic values in Israeli and Palestinian societies. The founder of the Gilo Center for Democracy at the Jerusalem University, Davidi also served on the boards of the Jewish Federation in San Francisco, the Jewish Agency, JTA and the Israel Policy Forum. J Street is proud to award Davidi Gilo this year's Tzedek v'Shalom (Justice and Peace) award.

 

FEATURING KEYNOTE SPEAKER:

ANAT HOFFMAN is a major leader for social justice in Israel. Born and raised in Jerusalem, she served in the Jerusalem City Council for 14 years. She was a founding member of Women of the Wall and continues to be a tireless advocate for freedom of religion and women's rights. In 2002, Anat became the Executive Director of the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC), the legal and advocacy arm of the Reform Movement in Israel. She is an outspoken leader promoting the values of religious pluralism, human equality, social justice and religious tolerance in Israel.
